readmission 

I was a freshman during the 2007-2008 school year, and I had to drop out of classes because my father had serious health issues and I had to go home and take care of him second semester, and I was dismissed. I really want to return to FMU,but since I was dismissed I do not know if there is any way I can do so, I know I cannot return the fall semester, but is there any way I can return the spring semester?

I'm sorry to hear about your fathers situation. After your first dismissal you must sit out for 1 major semester. You're welcome to reapply for the semester following that one. Of course, we encourage you to retake some courses so that your GPA will be boosted above a 2.0. So long as you follow our Probation Advisor you'll be good to go!

I am planning on retaking some courses to boost my GPA back up, but do I need to retake them before I reapply or can I take them that semester
