Great questions! I'm not sure who you spoke with before, but they were incorrect. Since you already have obtained a degree from us, you'll need just another 36 hours to complete a second degree. You're acceptance into the university is certain, however, there are particular courses you must complete prior being accepted into the school of nursing. Since you already have a degree there are 22 hours of prerequisites that must be taken before you can start the nursing program. Some of them you may have taken at FDTC. You can find these courses in the latest catalog on page 127. Basically, to answer your question, you won't have to retake anything you've already earned credit for. Regina Smeltzer (843-661-1689) is the coordinator of the RN to BSN program so you should definately contact her after you apply for admission. I hope this helps!
